This Code of Ethics for parents and students manifests the value and duty of the parents to impress the moral principles upon their children, that shall prevail in human relations, with the purpose of maintaining a high ethical level proposed to the students, and guide their conduct in their relationships with teachers, colleagues, administrative employees, institutions, and communities; respecting ideas, political and religious preferences, and private life, despite their nationality, gender, age, income level, or any other characteristic of the people they academically relate with.
Parents’ and Students’ responsibilities towards the Institution:
1. Assume the obligation to always act according to the institution’s mission, visión, and quality policy. 2. Encourage punctuality, and optimize the time dedicated to the educational activities for the accomplishment of his/her workplan. 3. Must respect standards and regulations on the provisions laid down on each and every single statement of the Transiting Rules. 4. Maintain the confidentiality of all documents, information, files and procedures of the institution. 5. Take care of the school’s facilities, furniture, systems, and work materials.
Students’ responsibilities towards Directors, Teachers, and Classmates:
1. Preserve a relationship of mutual respect with their teachers and classmates, based on high courtesy standards inside the school’s facilities. 2. Must act according to our institutional values: Perseverance, loyalty, respect, service, and honesty. 3. Recognize that the teacher will request for parents’ participation when convenient. 4. Must punctually deliver all of the school activities requested by teachers.
Parents’ responsibilities towards Directors, Teachers, and Administrative Staff:
1. He/She must respect directors’or executives’, immediate superiors’, and administratives’ professional reputation and their opinion, maintaining high courtesy standards in the relationships with them inside the school’s facilities. 2. Combat the lack of professionalism and expose corruption, incompetence, or technical failures with the institution’s corresponding directors (academic or administrative). 3. Must acknowledge his/her responsibilities for their own actions and decisions. ont color="04366d">4. Must not accept any gratifications, gifts, or favors that may harm or appear to influence their actions over scholar decisions. 5. Must care to keep a proper working environment, avoiding derogatory remarks to disqualify one or more individuals that form part of the work team, as well as avoiding comments that disrepute the institution’s image. 6. Encourage their child/children our institutional values: Perseverance, loyalty, respect, service, and honesty. 7. In the education field, request clear and timely information to the teachers about their child/children’s academic performance. 8. Will do everything that is possible to encourage the student to take an active role in the academic activities.
